Sculpture - private commissions

I have had several private commissions from clients around the UK.

Below are some examples of completed small scale works.

Ouroboros

This piece depicts an “Ouroboros” a traditional image of a snake devouring its own tail. This image is used in folklore and mysticism throughout the world and is the origin of the infinity symbol. This sculpture was commissioned and completed in October 2022, made with mild steel.

Kraken - mild steel

This piece depicts a dramatic scene involving the “Kraken”- a mythical sea creature similar to a giant squid or octopus that would pull ships down to the ocean bed. This sculpture was commissioned and completed in January 2023.

Octopus table

This piece was created for a client who wished to create a bespoke “Octopus” table for his nautically themed seaside apartment. This sculpture is actually a table base and sits perfectly level with four tentacles as the table legs and four as the supports for the corners of the table top.

HOME awards

These statues were commissioned by HOME Manchester in 2022 for the Manchester Open Exhibition Awards. The statues’ design is based on the architecture of the HOME building.

Love Birds

This sculpture depicts two doves nestled together. It was a collaboration between me and my dad, Brian Fell. We made one of the birds each. It was commissioned and completed in November 2022.

Acid Bee

This bee sculpture was created for a Mancunian client who wanted a version of Manchester’s iconic bee symbol that also conveyed the Acid House culture synonymous with the area. To achieve this, the bee was depicted in a bucket hat and trainers as though heading out to a rave.

Portrait of Two Sisters

These pieces were commissioned by an individual who wanted portraits of his two daughters. It was completed in 2019.
